Athlete Bio

Sixteen-year old Alex Sorgente is an upcoming bowl skater who finished 5th at his first X Games Park event in Barcelona, Spain, 2013 and he finished 2nd overall on the World Cup Skateboarding ranking for 2014. He's been in Big Air at X Games, but bowls are his passion and he's leaving his mark. At the Oi Bowl Jam in January 2015, he landed the first ever Ollie 540 in a bown contest and finished 2nd to Pedro Barros. The homeschooled junior drives 2 hours to the nearest ramp and is passionate about supporting Mike Rogers, founder of Grind for Life. The former motocross racer took part in the Skatercross event in January 2015.

  • Alex has competed three times at X Games, in both SKB Big Air and Park. At X Games Barcelona 2013Alex made the Final and finished 5th. The homeschooled 11th grade finished 7th in Big Air in Munich 2013 and 9th at LA 2012. Alex also won the Australian Bowlriders event in Feb. 2014.
