The most dominant slopestyle skier since Tanner Hall ruled the discipline from 2002-2004, Nick Goepper backed up his 2013 X Games Aspen gold with another in 2014. For the second straight year, he earned the AFP title for slopestyle, after standing on the podium at five of six events during the season. The 2014 Olympic bronze medalist grew up skiing at Perfect North Slopes in southern Indiana: elev. 800 feet, with 400 vertical feet and 100 acres of terrain. He's known for his progressive jumps, difficult rails, unique grabs and flawless execution, and his friendly personality and clean-cut good looks have made him a favorite off the snow, too.
- Goepper is the first skier since Tanner Hall to win X Games Slopestyle twice. He owns a 2013 X Games Aspen Men's Ski Slopestyle gold and a Slopestyle silver from X Games Aspen 2012. He also owns a 2014 Olympic slopestyle bronze and has podiumed at five of six events in 2013 and 2014.
