About Liam

This aggressive Brit wowed at X Games 2011 when he took down racing legend Marcus Grönholm in the Rally Car Racing Final for gold. He put on another exciting show at Munich 2013 when he won Race 1 gold, added silver in Race 2 and then slapped Toomas Heikkinen in the head after the race. Racing since 14, Doran is a second-generation rallycross competitor. His father, Pat Doran, is a British champion and his family owns Lydden Hill Circuit, where the first rallycross event was held back in the 1960s. A fearless, flat-out driver, Liam finished second overall on the ERC in 2012. Doran is expecting his first child on July 5th, 2014 -- a boy!

  • Liam won X Games Munich RallyCross gold in Race #1, and silver in Munich Race #2. He also won X Games RCR Racing gold as a rookie in 2011 and competed on the ERC series in 2013, winning the stop in Montalegre, Portugal. He finished fifth overall.
