Army veteran and double leg amputee Brandon Adam retired from sit-ski competition after X Games Aspen 2012, but he's making his
comeback at Aspen 2015. The 2011 Mono Skier X silver medalist had back surgery in June to alleviate the pain that forced him into retirement. With about 50% of his previous pain gone, a new ski setup and his family accompanying him to Aspen, Adam is ready to race again. He brings his military attitude to X Games: don't complain and work hard. Brandon lost his legs in Iraq on May 5, 2007, to an IED.
