Athlete Bio

One of the most accomplished female superpipe skiers on the planet, Canada's Roz Groenewoud, 25, is a threat for the podium at every contest she enters. She owns five X Games medals from eight appearances including one gold, two silver and two bronze, and is known for her incredible amplitude: at X Games 2013, she boosted 14'10" out of the pipe. The first female sports woman sponsored by Target, Groenewoud finished 7th at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

  • Roz had five X Games SuperPipe medals from eight appearances. She owns an X Games Aspen 2012 SuperPipe gold after claiming the highest score in X Games Women's Ski SuperPipe history with 93.66. She also had the biggest air of the comp at 14'5" on the first hit of her final run. She placed 7th in half pipe at 2014 Olympics.
