Athlete Bio

Two-time X Games BMX Big Air gold medalist Zach Warden missed X Games 2014 after breaking his left tibia, but in Oct. 2014, he broke his L2 vertebra and fractured his right arm overshooting a dirt jump. The 26-year-old got back on his bike in February, he's riding at Bob Burnquist's mega ramp and at Woodward. Always and innovative rider, he landed new tricks in 2013 at X Games: a backflip bikeflip to late tailwhip combo over the gap, and he's landed one-of-a-kind tricks in Vert that could make it to Big Air. Zach used to live at Woodward, but moved back to his hometown of Saint Louis in fall 2014.
