Athlete Bio

With one of the best whips in freestyle and a charismatic personality, Potter won X Games gold in the fan-voted Best Whip comp in both 2009 and 2010. He added a silver in 2011 and bronze in 2012. With seven overall X Games medals, including three from Best Trick, Potter is a natural showman who can perform under pressure. While he's been known more as a Best Trick competitor, Potter won his biggest freestyle comp to date in May 2012, capturing X-fighters at Glen Helen, CA. He's competed in Freestyle six times at X Games with a best finish of 7th. Between Best Trick and Best Whip, he's medaled every year at X Games, for a total of seven medals.
