Athlete Bio

With X Games gold in SuperPipe and an appearance at the Winter Olympics, Davis crossed off two goals in 2014. Now he's attempting to save competitive snowboarding from becoming too rigid "through his experimental "Peace Park" contest, which was featured on "World of X" in November. Davis' X Games gold came in his 6th appearance and after major injuries in 2010 and 2012 that could have ended his career. He's an anti status quo rider who will perfect a switch method over a double cork. He'll even put down two different runs in a contest, unheard of in competitive snowboarding today. This style and innovation earns him the respect of his colleagues; he's admired in and out of the pipe.

You Don't Say?

  • Danny owns the 2014 X Games SuperPipe gold -- It was his first X Games SuperPipe Final in six appearances. Danny's "Peace Park" contest was featured on ABC's "World of X" in November 2014. He placed 10th overall at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and landed three double corks in one run to beat Shaun White at the 2010 Mammoth Mtn. Grand Prix.
