About Nate

Now 36, Holland has won gold at seven of his 11 appearances in Snowboarder X and has not missed the podium since 2005. Holland expects to win again because XG is the one venue where he can't miss; he's a featured athlete in the World of X Games Most Dominant show. Holland even wins big at X Games: Three of his last five victories were by more than a half-second, an eternity in a 90-second race. On a short course in 2014 he still won by .37. Outside X Games, Holland and his younger brother, Pat, run a wakeboard/waterski school in their hometown of Sandpoint, Idaho, over the summer.

  • Nate, an eight-time X Games gold medalist, owns 10 total X Games medals. X Games Aspen 2015 will be his 12th X Games appearance. He earned the first X Games winter sports 5-peat which was snapped in 2011by Tucker Hibbert now has a 7-peat. He finished 4th in snowboard cross at the 2010 Winter Olympics, 14th in 2006, and tied for 25th in 2014.
