Athlete Bio

Now 36, Holland has won gold at seven of his 11 appearances in Snowboarder X and has not missed the podium since 2005. Holland expects to win again because XG is the one venue where he can't miss; he's a featured athlete in the World of X Games Most Dominant show. Holland even wins big at X Games: Three of his last five victories were by more than a half-second, an eternity in a 90-second race. On a short course in 2014 he still won by .37. Outside X Games, Holland and his younger brother, Pat, run a wakeboard/waterski school in their hometown of Sandpoint, Idaho, over the summer.
