Athlete Bio

A four-time X Games gold medalist, Kagy has also medaled in four differed BMX disciplines and is tied for third on the X Games BMX all-time medal count (15) behind Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist. His last medal, gold, came at X Games Munich 2013. He is the last athlete to beat Jamie Bestwick at X Games (Vert gold, 2006). His unique tricks make him a standout, and his broad skills and years of experience make him a consistent podium threat. At Austin 2014, Kagy celebrated the birth of his daughter two days before the comp and then broke his kneecap in Vert. Still competed in Big Air. Broke his left foot on the Nitro Circus Tour in May 2015 but plans to compete at Austin 2015.
