X Games Aspen 2013, the premier action sports event featuring 200 of the world's best snowsports athletes, will take place Jan. 24 through Jan. 27, 2013 in Aspen, Colo. This is the 12th year that the X Games have been held in Aspen. The event schedule will be announced at a later date.
X Games Aspen will be covered live on ESPN's family of networks as well as on XGames.com and X Games social media platforms.
X Games Aspen will feature athletes from across the globe competing for medals and prize money in the following sports and disciplines: Ski Big Air, Ski Slopestyle (men's and women's), Ski SuperPipe (men's and women's), Snowboard Big Air, Snowboard Slopestyle (men's and women's), Snowboard SuperPipe (men's and women's), Snowboard Street, and five disciplines of snowmobiling including Adaptive, Best Trick, Freestyle, SnoCross, and Speed & Style.
A list of invited athletes will be released at a later date.
