Saturday afternoon was a different story from Saturday morning in New Jersey. It was still cold, but the sun came out as the swell and wind died down for Clay Pollioni to get all rampy.
Fisher Heverly made the trek up from Emerald Isle to score Hatteras last Friday. He and Matt Lusk opted to go down the beach and shoot this perfect left wedge that was coming in with no one on it.
When this protected little corner in Maine gets huge and snow-covered, it's like a New England storybook.

This winter has been pretty inconsistent on the East Coast. But when it has come alive, Danny Mears of Barnegat Light has taken every opportunity.
"The surf fired all day long -- one of the most memorable and photogenic days I've had here. It was primarily local surfers getting shacked all day long in 60-degree water and 60-degree air," said Matt Lusk.
Stefan Gamon isn't pro or even sponsored. He's a student at Rutgers. But he'll pull into anything in New Jersey, on the coldest of days.
