Tucker Hibbert swept both rounds of the Pro Open class this weekend at the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series at the Canterbury Park Raceway in Shakopee, Minn.

The Pelican Rapids, Minn., native benefitted from Tim Tremblay being black-flagged and subsequently disqualified for aggressive driving after he accidentally dragged Ross Martin while trying to pass him after Martin crashed in the main event of Round 6 on Saturday night.

"It was a little bit tougher to get up here today, but it was really fun early on running with Ross and Tim," Hibbert said in a news release. "Just an exciting race."

Martin, who finished second Friday night in Round 5, later got back on his snowmobile but finished 10th. Kody Kamm of Kenosha, Wis., finished second and Petter Narsa of Moskosel, Sweden, was third.

"I saw Ross fall off and I was like 'Oooo … podium!' I'm lucky to be up here I guess," Kamm, who finished third Friday night, said in a release.

Hibbert has now won four consecutive rounds to take over the overall lead in the standings with 245 points, followed by Robbie Malinoski of Stacy, Minn., with 216 points, Martin with 215. Tremblay, the defending Pro Open champion from Ste Jeanne D'Arc, Quebec, dropped from third to fourth with 201 points.

David Joanis of Cochrane Ontario, strengthened his Pro Lite class points lead with a victory Saturday night and a second-place finish Friday night. Andrew Lieders of Colby, Wis., was second in the lites Saturday, followed by Corin Todd of Otego, N.Y.

Travis Muller of Windom, Minn., won Friday's lites final and Jake Scott of Jefferson Station, N.Y., was third.

Rounds 5 and 6 of the eight-stop snocross season will take place Feb. 1-2 at Canterbury Park in Deadwood, S.D., but SnoCross will also be part of X Games Aspen on Jan. 27.
