Julian Carr: La Parva, Chile, is only one hour from Santiago. Stay in the rustic village of Farrellones 10 minutes from the resort and enjoy zero crowds, great Chilean culture and high elevation Andes shredding.
Mark Abma: "Along with a beautifully rich culture and friendly people, the skiing in Gulmarg, India, is amazing. The Highland Lodge is the place to be -- rooms equipped with wood-burning stoves and a good restaurant. Don't miss the Monkey Trees."
Ian McIntosh: My favorite place to ski is Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia. There's nothing better than a coastal snowpack and also, these two mountains are so huge that it takes a lifetime to ski it all. The best place to après is at the GLC."
