The Swatch Skiers Cup is a big mountain and backcountry slopestyle contest that took place recently at Valle Nevado, Chile. It pitted Team America versus Team Europe.

Team America's KC Deane beat out Sweden's Jacob Wester and Germany's Tom Leitner in the big-mountain portion of the contest.
At stake is national pride and a big silver boot trophy.
"We're not competing just for ourselves," says Frenchman Richard Permin. "It's a group of friends pushing each other to do something good for our countries. That's pretty cool."

"The strategy for Team Europe is pretty much no strategy," says Permin. "We're just going to go for it, try to do the best and do some good tricks and have a good time."

After the three final heats, Team Americas came out on top with a final score of 10 to 9. Here's the winning team.
