    Face Time: Andreas Hatveit

    XGames.com

    Published Sunday January 13, 2013

A five-time X Games medalist, Norway's Andreas Hatveit, 26, is regarded as one of the most technical slopestyle skiers on the planet. He proved that again at the Dew Tour Breckenridge stop in mid-December when he finished second in tough conditions behind Russ Henshaw.

Unfortunately, Hatveit didn't have much time to celebrate. On the last jump of his second run, he crashed on the landing, suffering a grade 1 MCL tear to his right knee. Hatveit said the knee didn't need surgery, and he returned to Norway to rehab until his next big mission: X Games Aspen 2013, coming up in just two weeks.
