Last night Blind Skateboards surprised Kevin Romar with his very own, very well deserved pro model at the Red Room in Long Beach, California. Disguised as a party to promote his recent amateur shoe color way from Supra, Kevin walked in to see his boards all over the walls and some of skateboarding's royalty like Sean Sheffey, Stevie Williams and Chad Muska wearing shirts with his face on them. Muska DJ'd and everyone from Scott Kane to Jake Duncombe were in attendance -- it was really a great night for skateboarding.
"I can't believe this is happening right now. This isn't real." is all Kevin could tell me.
Well guess what Kevin... you're pro! Congratulations from everyone at ESPN.com and thanks go out to Blind, Krew and Supra for making it happen.
