Founded in 2005 by Paul Gross and Lori Poliski, MX for Children has been committed to creating a positive and synergistic bond between motocross enthusiasts and riders while raising money for children's hospitals across North America.
Back for 2013, MX for Children gives fans five chances to get involved with their Inside Line Experience rounds in St. Louis, Toronto, Houston, Seattle, Salt Lake Cit, and the Jackpot Challenge in Las Vegas to finish the series off. From Day 1, the Inside Line Experience and the Jackpot Challenge have been a hit with participants and has raised more than $600,000 for children's hospitals in the United States and Canada.
Gross and Poliski are the parents of William, whose life was saved by the doctors and nurses at Seattle Children's Hospital on the second day of his life. Their MX for Children project encourages other kids to raise money to help children who need help and learn the values of helping others.

"We're honored again in being able to bring our MX for Children fundraising activities back to the Monster Energy Supercoss Series for 2013," Gross said. "We've got some new ideas brewing for our third annual Jackpot Challenge contest where our top fundrasier is awarded an exclusive VIP trip to the Las Vegas SX finale. In addition our grass roots Inside Line Experience fundraiser events for local children's hospitals continue for the SX events in Toronto, Seattle, Houston, St. Louis and Salt Lake City."
The person who raises the most money for MX for Children during the Supercross season will win the Jackpot Challenge grand prize of two VIP passes to the finale of Supercross in Las Vegas including airfare, hotel and meals.
"Proud does not explain the emotions his father and I have. We are so grateful to [MX for Children] for giving us the opportunity to get to know our son and be able to teach him such a valuable lesson about compassion and giving back," Joanne Yaskow of Toronto wrote in a letter to MX for Children about her son Dakota's fund-raising efforts when he was 6.
The first Inside Line Experience takes place this weekend in St. Louis for Round 9 of the Supercross season. More information can be found at the MX for Children website, mxforchildren.org.
