A while back I posted a blog about Larry Linkogle's documentary film in progress titled The Mind of the Demon: The Larry Linkogle Story. At the time, I didn't have much info on the film other than I knew that it was being produced by Adam Barker (of Fuel TV's M80, Frezno Smooth and more.) Since then, I haven't heard much, but today I talked to Barker and he let me know the film is nearly finished and ready to premier mid-September at the SoCal Film Fest in Huntington Beach, California.
The Mind of the Demon is a documentary about Larry's crazy life, on and off the bike, and what makes this film so nuts is that nothing was held back during production. Barker told me that Link wanted people to get the honest truth as to what led to his demise from the public eye, mainly drug addiction and just straight gnarness. On the flip side, it also documents Link's physical and mental comeback and focuses on all the positive things that have taken shape in his life due to his downfall.
Just from what I've heard and after watching the trailer, I'm predicting that this film is going to be the best moto-related film we've seen in a long time... at least since Twitch's Hood Rich. Barker stated late October as the public DVD release date, but we'll keep you updated as it draws closer. Official trailer after the jump.
