Athletes En Masse
Earlier this summer, nearly 100 GoPro athletes from across action sports gathered at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu for a series of workshops on camera skills and more. They tested their new skills while out on the water, including this surf session on Turtle Bay on a SUP-Squatch.
In the workshops, athletes learned everything from basic camera skills to advanced shooting and editing. Then they got thrown into the water, literally. Galapagos sharks carve the waters in the open sea off Oahu's North Shore. Here, snowboarder Jamie Anderson dives down for a closer look.

99 Athletes, This Ain't One
Athletes weren't the only ones with cameras in Haleiwa. This resident sea turtle gets up close with photographer Don Miralle during the GoPro summit.
Surfer Kai Lenny and freeskier Grete Eliassen enjoy the ride, while BASE jumper Roberta Mancino gets her bearings.
