Ryan "Biz" Jordan's Verde
Earlier this week, Verde Bikes/Demolition Parts pro Ryan "Biz" Jordan released a new video section and had the entire BMX community up in arms over his smooth lines, unique spot selection and ability to keep his icepick grinds going for too long. Here is the bike that Biz gets it done on, a Verde Oxbridge frame built up with an array of his signature parts.
"I have ran 21-inch frames forever. The brakes have been on since I started and I think they will be on till the end. I just like them, there's no other reasoning than that. I've also been on a freecoaster for seven years now. I like how clean and smooth it feels rolling out of stuff, and it makes half cab tricks more fun. My chain has to be tight and everything solid, and that's about it."
Biz's full front-end is supplied by his parts sponsor Demolition.
"I run the Demolition Machete tires for the front and back. I used to run tires with less tread, then switched to these and liked the way the feel, so I stuck with them."
"The Demolition/Markit seat is perfect. It has good grip on the side for throwing the bars and the all-black color makes for a good look."
"I've been running the plastic Demolition PC pedals since they first made them a few years ago and I can't see myself going back to metal anytime soon."
Demolition Keystone stem
"I have been supporting my good friend Chris Doyle by running his signature Demolition stem for the last four years and I love this stem. I can't get enough of it."
Demolition Rotator hub
"I have been running a freecoaster since 2007 and just recently, Demolition started making a signature freecoaster for me called the Rotator. Not pedaling while going backwards is fun, go pick one up! I can't get enough of it."
"Demolition came out with these cranks a few years ago and I have never had a single problem with them. I seriously can't get enough of them. I ran my last set for about a year and half. For gearing, I like running a bigger size. It's harder to get going, but once you do you can go fast."
"Verde just released the Oxbridge frame. I run the 21-inch version and it feels perfect. I am mostly into the paint job. It's textured and looks really cool. I can't get enough of this frame."
Signature Verde bars
"I run my signature Verde bars. They have an 8.6-inch rise, which I feel is perfect and not overly tall. The grips that I run are the Dennis Enarson signature Demolition grips. I just recently put them on for the first time and I am happy with the way they feel. I really, really cannot get enough of them."
