Pennsylvania trail season look back
Many shovels were smacked, wheel barrows were filled, lips were watered, and tarps were pinned. New friends were made, and old friends were brought back together for one reason -- to ride and build at the trails. With generous donations from S&M Bikes, Empire BMX, Fit Bike Co. and dozens of other sponsors and supporters, another awesome trail season is about to begin in the woods of eastern Pennsylvania. In preparation for the upcoming season, XGames.com looks back at some highlights from the 2013 trail season. Here is Brian Foster doing what he is known for: 360 table on the last set of Middle at Posh.
Throughout 2013, Brian Foster was filming with Stew Johnson for the upcoming Fit video, and he was busting out some rad moves like this superman on the Butcher jump at Posh.
The rider known simply as Foerske was visiting last summer from Belgium with two of his friends. They trained just about every lap they took. Here is a mid-train no-hander through Chillers at Posh.
Ekim King folds his turndowns almost as hard as he sings in his band Secret Cutter.
Sam Dorward might have more flow than any other local at Catty Woods: one-footed table.
Foerske with a huge 360 on the last set of Chicken at Catty Woods.
Tom Alper inverting through West Side at Catty Woods late in the season.
Jack Dorward (Sam's 15-year-old brother) rides Catty like he has been doing it for years. One-footed table in Fonzy.
Ekim, Jack, and Matt Trievel of Axelrad Screen Printing having a laugh after a cold lap through the trails.
Dirt Sculpt Dave King's toboggans are one of the things that influenced me to start riding way back in 1993. They still have me hooked.
