    Inland Empire according to Biz

A day in the life of Biz

Ryan "Biz" Jordan is a Boston Native but made the move to the "Inland Empire" back in 2001 when his buddy and fellow BMX pro Jerry Bagley came out to Cali to chase the dream. Somehow the I.E. became a place where all kinds of pro riders would come to live, ride and spend their days. Skip ahead twelve years later to now and not much has changed.

      Jamba Juice

"Seeing as how juicing is the new craze in BMX I thought that I would try and give it go. I think Jamba Juice might be a bit more natural and healthier than the homemade ones," says Biz.

      Wallride

"A lot of the times it's the simple things that are the most fun. Trash cans and walls are everywhere. Put them together and you got a fun obstacle."
    • 4null

      School daze

"The Inland Empire is flooded with good schools. Within five minutes from my house I would say that I have about seven fun ones. On the weekends they are empty and they are a good place to jib around without having to worry about kids on razors getting in the way."

      Cement parks

"During the weekdays I spend a lot of time at the cement parks. I have a dozen to choose from that are close to me and they are all bike-friendly. There are enough of them that you can rotate them in your schedule so you don't get sick of any particular one."

      New spots

"Spots come and go and this is one of them that we stumbled upon recently. I have never been too good at riding pools but this one isn't too tight and it's fun to ride. Hopefully it lasts a few more months."

      IE ditch

"This ditch is pretty close to my place but Jason [Enns] and I just started riding it recently. When I first went there it had a rail and a few other things in it. We plan to add some other stuff soon."

      Quality cat time

"If I am not out and about this is where you can catch me most of the time. When my lady isn't home, my cat Bailey keeps me company while I surf the web or watch some TV."

      Barspin a day

"Here's another shot from the ditch that we frequent. I have been doing barspins for over fifteen years and I don't think that I will ever get sick of them."

      Biz and Enns

"The amount of pros that live out this way is ridiculous but most of them are dirt riders. When Jason moved here about five years ago I was psyched. He and I like to ride similar stuff and he is only a city away so he makes for a great riding partner."

      Miguel's in Corona

"I was never a fan of Mexican food when I first moved out here. It took me forever to warm up to it but I guess you have to get used to it living in SoCal. Now one of my favorite places to get it is at Miguel's in Corona. I will usually hit it up a few times a week. I can't get enough."
