Having a bag with you for every day riding missions is essential and Premium pro Chad Kerley knows just how true that is. From the essentials like extra tubes and tools to a bottle of Aleve and an iPod, Chad has a unique selection of goods that he considers "must-haves" for every session.
"Having a bag with me with all of my stuff is something that has always been a part of riding for me. I like keeping my stuff with me in case I want or need it, and it's nice to have a place to put it all. I usually use the same bag to travel with too so I have it with me pretty often."
"It's cool to have snacks and stuff already in my bag. I like to stop at a store and stock up on stuff that will last for whenever I'm feeling hungry at a spot. And of course, having something to drink is mandatory."
"I usually ride with an iPod, especially at a skate park so I just try to keep it in my bag so it's there when I need it. My sessions are always so much better when I'm bumpin' some of my favorite tunes."
"Having tools on me at spots is a must. My bike gets busted sometimes, especially when I'm trying a trick and filming. Stuff happens, my back wheel might move, my headset might gets loose. It's just nice to have my tool kit on me to fix it right away."
"Rails and ledges aren't always buttery and usually need some wax. I don't always have wax on me and it's a bummer. Actually I'm not even sure who gave me the wax I have now but it's been coming in handy a lot lately so thanks to whoever that was!"
"Meeting kids and other riders is always awesome, and everyone likes getting some dope stickers! Plus I like having stickers on me to slap on spots sometimes too."
"Flat tires seem to always come at the worst time so it's cool knowing that I have tubes in my bag rather than being bummed that I have to go to a store and get them."
"I like keeping Aleve just incase I have a headache or something, and for slams of course. It's nice to be somewhat prepared for stuff like that, simply because you never know what's gonna' happen when you're out riding."
