With a World Title, Olympic silver medal and Supercross title, Sam headed back down to Florida to protect his points and hopefully gain some more traction in Orlando.
Early in the Grands weekend, Sam sought to block some points from Marc Willers and possibly secure a title in the process. He had no such luck and had to wait until the finals.
