Another race, another holeshot. This shot in 2011 is of a full-time college student making time for a few wins.
This is one of my favorite photos that I've shot in the past few years: the look in DD's eye, the light giving it all some dimension, and a rider on her way to her fourth pro title.
When there is that much room between first and second place, the race is already won.
This was just the first jump on the track and Daniels is already pulling away for a solid holeshot.
Two straights into the race and not much changes, she was still ahead.
Daniels on the far outside getting a wheel ahead of the competition in South Park before dominating the rest of the lap.
Daniels picked an inside gate for this winning lap around the track.
Aside from her ABA/USA BMX title, Daniels also has a couple of titles from the now defunct NBL. Here she is taking a lap in Louisville.
