Animal Bikes Los Angeles street jam
Welcome to Los Angeles
This past weekend, Animal Bikes hosted a street jam through the Mid-Wilshire portion of Los Angeles. Featuring Animal Bikes team riders Nigel Sylvester, Ralphy Ramos, Tom White and more, hundreds of riders showed up to session the streets of L.A. Contributor Aaron Nardi was on hand to capture the action. The scene was pretty wild with people riding every direction, but this unknown rider saw a break in the chaos and managed to thread the needle with a manual to barspin down a four-stair.
Dylan Stark might be too good: crank slide up to tailwhip pulled as clean as can be.
Dylan Stark starts this run with a manual to big barspin, then a few feet later, he hit an opposite whip down a four-stair.
This is the opposite whip part of the same line from the previous photo.
Riders gather to watch as Ride BMX filmer Jeff Zielinski films a line from a local.
Gabe Brooks mid-line opposite icepick as Jeff Z films.
'Sons of Anarchy' star Kurt Yaeger managed to take a break from his busy Hollywood schedule to hang out with the homies. I'm fairly sure he was the only rider there doing "one-footed" grinds.
Icepick grind from Yaeger.

Ralphy Ramos (left) and Nigel Sylvester (right) made the trip to Los Angeles from NYC to enjoy the nice weather and ride the jam.
Animal's Ralphy Ramos leads a huge pack into another good spot. Ramos and Sylvester have been spending time in the Los Angeles area to escape the harsh NYC winter, and they know the streets well.

Random wall ride
At certain points of the day, you'd turn around and someone would be ripping right behind. This was one of those points and luckily, shooting from the hip worked out this time.
Gabe Brooks cleaned this massive feeble to smith to 180 as Ben Ward holds up traffic and Nate Richter films.
