Alex Liiv Off Metal/New Products

Metal Bikes

A new Metal frame formerly known as the Sean Burns signature Blood Wolf.

Just a few days after Metal's Sean Burns left the Metal Bikes camp, Australian team rider Alex Liiv is following suit. According to Alex, "I am leaving many friends and fun filled times. I have been in on the Metal program for 1187 days, and I feel it is time to turn over a new leaf and move on with new projects. I love Jimmy and the whole Metal Bikes team, so no bad beef, no bad reflections on any of the dudes I have met and hung with."

No word on where Alex will end up, or if he just plans on walking the Earth like Caine from Kung Fu. But things are starting to pick up for Metal. In fact, their new 2010 line is soon to be available, including two new frames, bars, sprocket and Pivotal seat. Check the new line on the Metal site, and be on the lookout for some new Metal team riders in the coming weeks.
