The lay days of the Quiksilver Pro France saw small but fun surf showing across the coastline of the region of Les Landes. With many of the world's best junior surfers in town for the King of the Groms it was a perfect time for these kids, frothed up by surfing and hanging with the ASP elite, to cut loose in the rippable French breachbreaks. Super groms Kanoa Igarashi, from Huntington Beach CA and Leonardo Fioravanti of Rome, Italy, scored a fun little session at a right with no one else out. After two hours the high tide killed the wave so they amused themselves by playing amateur matador with passing cars and cyclists. It definitely doesn't suck to be a grom in France.
