Kuba Cerski came over to America from Poland about a year ago with only one intention: to ride his bike. Kuba is currently staying in Chicago, Ill. and enjoying the plethora of skateparks scattered around the city and suburbs. His only disappointment is that the skateparks don't have box jumps.
Kuba rides with Chicago-area local Joe Battaglia, who also loves a good box jump. Like Kuba, Joe has a technical side, but neither are afraid to go big. Seeing them ride together is a pretty interesting situation, considering that both barely speak English half the time. Joe is a native but has adopted an "English-Gully-Battaglia" hybrid, creating his own vernacular. Kuba's first language is Polish, and while he speaks English well, his use of Battaglia's Gully-fied language and translation can be entertaining.
Kuba has plans to travel to more of the U.S., so if you get the chance to ride with him, take it. You won't be disappointed. Music by: Turbo Fruits "Love Tennessee"
