With the BMX racing portion of the London Olympic Games starting later this week, we decided to take a special look at the equipment going into the Wednesday's Time Trials and Friday's races. And through the magic of Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, we're all getting special sneak peeks into what the riders will wearing and riding later this week. To begin with, we compiled custom-painted helmets from 11 of the fastest competitors at the London Games, ranging from Team Australia's Caroline Buchanan to Team USA's Connor Fields. Most kept it simple and went with their country's colors, but there were a few surprises, including boxing kangaroos and Nic Long's evil eye. Check the photos.
