Terrible One has a long history of doing things a little unorthodox. The Austin, Texas based brand not only reinvigorated the rider-owned bike company model that we so prominently see today, but has continually been innovative and interesting. This has come in the form of one-off products like hand drawn tee-shirts by the team, getting Terrible One skateboard decks made, and even year-long, worldwide trips with the team. This time around though, Terrible One is offering three treasure hunts in three international cities: Austin in the United States, Malaga in Spain, and Hastings in the United Kingdom. The "treasures" will consist of Terrible One grips, a Terrible One "Logan's Run" sprocket, and a voucher for the new etnies Ruben/T1 RVM shoe. Clues for the contest will be released once a week for the next three weeks. The first location was in Terrible One team rider Ruben Alacantara's hometown of Malaga. Clues and photographs were posted on Terrible One's Facebook page and website. The Malaga clue reading: "Direction: north. At the edge of town. Close to a botanic garden. Sometimes there's lots of water here."
