MECHANICSVILLE, Md. -- Ryan Dungey raced to his third consecutive AMA Pro Motocross victory, sweeping the 450 Class motos Saturday at Budds Creek MX Park.

Dungey, the Red Bull KTM star from Belle Plaine, Minn., increased his lead in the season standings to 54 points over Suzuki's Mike Alessi.

Kawasaki's Broc Tickle, from Holly, Mich., was second in both motos. Alessi, from of Victorville, Calif., was third overall, finished fourth in the first moto and third in the second.

"It was good, starting from practice and into the [races]," Dungey said. "I got good starts, which helped get me out front. Mike and Broc both rode well, so I had to do some work in that second moto. We have a couple weeks off now, so I'll use it to my advantage and see if we can [still] get a little bit better."

In the 250 Class, Kawasaki's Blake Baggett, from Grand Terrace, Calif., raced to his second victory of the season. He finished second in the first moto, and won the second.

Baggett extended his lead in the season standings to 13 points.

AMA Pro Motocross will take a two-week break and resume the season July 7 with the the Red Bull RedBud National in Buchanan, Mich.
