Thursday seem like a great day to watch some cool, new and old skate videos. In skateboarding, the only way to disseminate what's happening in our surroundings and the planet at large is to see it -- if we want to believe it. Photos and video are the portals of what's going on NOW and how it happened THEN.
Michael Sieben, the mastermind behind Roger Skateboards, recently partnered with Fairdale Bikes on a collaboration of bike and skate. Fairdale made a bigger, street functional, coaster brake bike that comes with a skate rack and a complete Roger skateboard. Only 50 were made so search'em out and pray you can find one. Check out the video they made with Max Taylor skating and a rare cameo by Tim Kerr of the legendary Austin, Texas punk band The Big Boys.
Lakai Limited Footwear just released their new Fall 2012 Catalog today and backed it up with a killer Sebo Walker commercial.
"Not At Home With Al and Chet" is the name of a roadtrip video that Strangenotes.com put out a few days ago. Al Partanen and Chet Childress, two skate bros and pros from the great Northwest search out some pools and get weird with beards.
Last but not least, Mark Gonzales' part from Blind Skateboards "Video Days" (1991) video. This is one of, if not the greatest video part ever filmed. It might seemed dated to some, but realize that almost everything in this video part was a "first" and had never been done before. Enjoy.
