Hoppenworld.comWith Ryan Dungey returning to supercross this weekend in Seattle, KTM will be one of the very few teams with a full roster of riders.

Red Bull/KTM has announced that Ryan Dungey will return to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series tomorrow night at Qwest Field in Seattle, Wash. Dungey has missed the last five rounds due to a broken collarbone he suffered while practicing at home in Florida for the St. Louis Supercross in early March. According to the team, Dungey, the 2010 Monster Energy Supercross Champion, has been riding motocross in preparation for his return to racing.

"It will be great to have the whole team together in Seattle," says Red Bull/KTM Team Manager Roger DeCoster.

Dungey was second place in points behind Ryan Villopoto and in contention for the championship when he was injured. He chose to race in St. Louis with the injury and finished second. Further evaluation revealed a broken collarbone that needed to be plated and he had collarbone surgery on March 6.

Although he has slipped to fourth place overall, three rounds remain, and Dungey trails Davi Millsaps and Justin Brayton, who sit second and third, by 14 and nine points respectively. Placing within the top three would give KTM its best overall finish in Monster Energy AMA Supercross history.

At round two Phoenix in January, Dungey gave KTM its first ever Supercross Class main event win. Dungey added another win in Atlanta at round eight.

Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class rider, Ken Roczen will join Dungey in the Supercross Class aboard a KTM 350 SX-F. Roczen is currently tied for second place in the Lites East division.

On May 21, Dungey will also return to the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Hangtown. Dungey won that title in 2010.
