Kurt Yaeger was recently invited to try out for the US ParaOlympic Bobsled Team in Park City, Utah. Funny enough, someone from the FIBT, the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation saw the recent BMX video we had out on Kurt and invited him on the spot. After training, Kurt looks like he's a shoe-in and could be traveling with the team to locations in Austria, Germany, Canada and more. However this is where the story takes a slight turn.
Due to this being such a new sport allowed into the Olympics, the funds for traveling, training and expenses aren't set up yet. But with such a high profile event like the Olympics and televised nationals, we're sure there are plenty of sponsors who would jump at the chance to support such an amazing team as this and gain the good will of having done so! Hopefully we'll see Kurt in the next Olympic Games, on top of acting, riding BMX and whatever else he sets his mind to.
