As things go, the swell's come up and another Maverick's day may be upon us. More on that to come later today or tomorrow depending on what happens up north (right now Surfline's calling it 18 to 20 feet with occassional 25-footers). "Should be a good, clean day," told Maverick's correspondent Frank Quirarte last night. "It's a pretty solid swell and the conditions are exceptional." But until we hear from Quirarte again, here's a few highlights from the last swell ... as well as a few comments from the ever-present peanut gallery.
