Born in Chicago and a longtime underground known commodity in Long Beach, Calif., Pat "Sinner" Pasquale has been making moves lately with a solid part in the new Shake Junt video, "Chicken Bone Nowison." Now Pasquale is teaming up with longtime friend Nick Trapasso to start their own board brand. We caught up with Pasquale to talk about the video part, the new company and more.

How was the Shake Junt premiere?
It was ridiculousness. There were so many people there. I didn't even get a chance to see some of my homies! I was kinda sneakin' around though, 'cause I had so much anxiety. Other than all that madness though, it was great. I had a lot of fun.
Did you go to the premiere at Bryan Herman's shop as well?
I didn't make it out for Bryan's premiere cause I was too shattered from the first one. I wanted to go. I couldn't get myself to drive up to Hollywood again.
Who had your favorite part in the video?
I liked everyone's parts. Neen [William's] part and Beagle's stand out though, as far as hijinx goes.
When did you meet Neen Williams?
I met Neen when I was in like sixth grade, I think. I'd been skating since like second grade or something so I was hooked up with this shop and they were doing one of those classic contests to get on the team events. Neen was there doing noseslide nollie heels! He was also blasting heelflips off this ledge. You could tell he'd only been skating for a few months. He didn't get on the team that day but I remember them giving him MVP. We started skating together and soon enough he was way better than me. He's always motivated me to progress, though, and at least try to keep up with him.

How long did it take to film your part?
I've pretty much been in the paint since the "Baker Has a Deathwish" video came out, which was 2008. But there's definitely a couple clips in there that just didn't get used in that video so they might be from like 2006 or even 2007. I don't even care, though. I gotta work so hard for some of this stuff. I just lock my clips in a vault like Jamie Thomas. Open it back up in a few years, you might have some gold.
How was going to Mexico with the Cons shoes guys?
Mexico was awesome! Anytime you travel with the Cons guys, you know it's gonna be an essential trip.
I saw you were in Kenny Anderson's new shoe commercial, too. How was
following Kenny to Vegas?
Kenny's trip to Vegas was sweet. Bomb catering, three meals a day, torturing the bus driver and film crew ... Shout out to Kenny! Still gotta try that shoe, though. It looks so good.
How are things coming along with the new board company, LE?
Things are going good with LE. Nick [Trapasso] and all of us had been talking about it for a couple years to just have our own company so we could make whatever we wanted, go on trips with all the homies and not have to answer to no one. Like a video, for instance ... we started filming a video and it all spawned from there. So it came to a point where Nick was just like, "We gotta do this before we're too old, son!" So nick quit Toy Machine. He called his buddy J. Strickland who started Baker and Bootleg and asked for some help with art. Luckily, Strickland was down. The graphics are insane! Blitz Distribution took us under their wing at the beginning of November so we've just been going in there getting everything ready for the tradeshow in January. Product should be in shops by February.

What does LE stand for?
LE stands for Life Extention. It's spelled jacked like that on purpose because it's better that way. We heard about the concept from this movie and we thought that'd be sick to just check yourself into some program where you could live the ultimate dream ... just skate and party forever. It was around the time Nick had just bought a video camera so we just started extending it and filming for LE every day.
Who all is on the team?
It's Nick Trapasso, Tony Tave, Beau Reid, and myself. It's hard because a lot of homies are already comfortable with where they're at. The team will eventually expand, though. So it just gives us time to make the right decisions with stuff like that.
Is there going to be an LE video in the works soon?
Yeah, there will be a little teaser at the Agenda tradeshow. But a full length video has been in the works for days. That's also tough because other companies s are always trying to wrangle up everybody's clips.
