Ryan Dungey on ESPN's "Late Night Action"

Ryan Dungey leads Chad Reed and Ryan Villopoto at Thunder Valley.

Team Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey was the defending champion heading into the 2011 Lucas Oils AMA Outdoor National series, which naturally turned him into a human target for the rest of the championship-hungry field. Everybody, including Dungy himself, knew that he had what it took to win championship number two, but up until his overall win at Thunder Valley last weekend, industry insiders were becoming a bit weary, mostly in part due to Chad Reed's re-invigorated attitude and moto domination.

Thunder Valley was a huge win for Dungey and his camp, so to get the lowdown on the win, Brandon 'Brando' Graham had him as a guest on 710ESPN's "Late Night Action" radio show. Click here to hear what Dungey had to say, along with colorful commentary sprinkled in by Brando. It's a great way to pass the time as we count down to the fourth of July weekend in our dingy fluorescent-lit cubicals.
