The Skatepark of Tampa's 17th annual Tampa Am is already underway with the world's hungriest and most eager amateur skaters practicing hard on the course down there in Ybor City. Tampa Am remains the definitive am proving grounds with several past winners going on to productive pro careers. Last year's winner, and the only Tampa Am competitor to win the contest two consecutive years in a row, Flip's Luan Oliveira turned pro shortly thereafter and is already off to a great start in his pro career.

We'll have our man on the scene, World Industries pro Andrew Cannon, down in Tampa all weekend long bringing us the skinny with what's going on, who's ripping and what the latest stories are from the street course. If this year is anything like virtually every Tampa contest that's come before it, there'll certainly be stories to tell. Keep checking back for regular updates and video from the contest right here. Also be sure to stop by the Skatepark of Tampa website where our buddy Rob Meronek always posts the latest as well.
