On Sunday, October 10,2010, NYC skaters celebrated the fourth annual Harold Hunter Day. The festivities, including a skate-jam, product toss and DJ performances, were held in celebration of the life of legendary NYC pro Harold Hunter. Our buddy Greg Waters was on the scene and sent back this report:

NYC's big ollie champ, Luis Tolentino goes up and over the slab.

"Run by the non-profit Harold Hunter Foundation with support from CCS, Zoo York, DVS, Woodward, and Red Bull, The fourth Harold Hunter Day went down at the L.E.S. Skatepark under the Manhattan Bridge. Hundreds of local skaters showed up along with plenty of big names like Zered Bassett, Billy Rohan, Luis Tolentino, Ron Deily, Jahmal Williams, Rodney Torres, Joe Tookmanian, and many others. Several best trick contests were held throughout the day, live music was provided by DJ Smoke L.E.S., and a massive product toss saw tons of sick gear given away including two gift certificates for free one-week sessions at Camp Woodward next summer.

"This year's event also marked the official launch of the limited edition DVS x HHF shoe series. Now available at select shops across the country, DVS will donate proceeds from the sale of these unique tribute shoes to the Harold Hunter Foundation."

Another successful event. For more info on the life of Harold Hunter and the positive works of the Harold Hunter Foundation be sure to check out their site.
