Surfercross: Bros vs. brahs

Surf pros and moto pros team up in this competition

This past Monday and Tuesday, sunny Southern California played host to the 12th annual Toyota/Musclemilk Surfercross. What is Surfercross might you ask? Well take some of the world's best surfers and moto riders, toss them on motorcycles to race one day, then surfboards the next -- do some judging, add a little smack talk and there you have it! This is Surfercross.

The format for the event is like this; there are two different classes: Industry and Pro. Each team consists of one surfer and one motocross rider, and an overall combined score is given to determine the winner. Unfortunately we couldn't make it out to the moto day on Monday (but you check out a cool video recap from Racer X Films) which took place at Starwest MX Park in Perris, Calif., but we were able to slip down to San Onofre State Beach to see how much some of our MX buddies sucked at surfing. Peep the vid for a few good laughs, as well as the top three results from the Industry and Pro classes.
