If there's one thing that sums up the happy-go-lucky career that Jason Adams has had, it's the fact that he was part of the Beautiful Men's Club, or BMC. It was pretty puzzling to me as a young kid, with a less developed sense of sarcasm, when I saw the BMC on his board or saw him hold his finger up to his brow (their then-known symbol of the crew). That's what happens when you grow up in the middle of the countryyou start believing everything. There's a wonderful history of the Beautiful Mens Club over here.
The reason I bring that up is because of Jason's Bonus Round clip on the Black Label site. The proud San Joser (?) is still approaching skateboarding with the same sense of fun as he gets oldereven incorporating his daughter into the goodtimes skits. As he continues to make himself known in the art world with his stencils, he keeps shredding with a smile. Long live "The Kid."
