The inimitable Laura Hadar has found herself a new snowboard sponsor. Capita Snowboards, formerly CAPiTA Super Corporation, a brand known for its artistic personality has officially signed Hadar as their first female rider to join the professional team, which presently includes Dustin Craven, Dan Brisse, TJ Schneider, and Scott Stevens.
Team manager Blue Montgomery commented on the addition of Hadar saying, "Laura is one of the industry's most unique and talented snowboarders. She's a wild one. Her style and our style is about as compatible as it gets."
And knowing Laura personally, I couldn't agree more. The girl's creativity and character is such a complementary match to the Capita brand that this newly formed alliance comes, really, as no surprise. Capita will add to a long list of sponsors that have supported Hadar over the yearsUnion Bindings, Oakley, Holden, Nike Snowboarding, Milosport, Grenade, and Nikita.
Last season the Salt Lake-based rider got a late start on the year, after having been dealt a knee injury, but presently reports that she's "more stoked to snowboard right now then I've ever been. I'm getting so buff. I do push ups after I brush my teeth every morning."
In addition to her snowboarding, Hadar also runs FICE, a skate and streetwear boutique located in downtown SLC.
