Hawk's nest filled with dolla dolla bills!

According to an article published today by Forbes financial magazine, Tony Hawk is the highest paid athlete in all of Action Sports. The Bird Man raked in $12 million in 2008 capitalizing on his world-famous name and numerous endorsements including his top selling video game series, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" which, according to Forbes, "is one of the best-selling videogame franchises of all time with $1.2 billion in sales since its launch."

Also making the grade from the skate world were Shaun White, clocking in at number 2 on the list with $9 million annually (though, undoubtedly, much of that came from his more lucrative snowboarding career), Ryan Sheckler checked in at number 3 with $5 million and Paul Rodriguez popped in at number 7 with $2 million.

Not too shabby fellas. Anyone want to spot me a few hundo?
