Ron standing in front of the, "eat the young" painting on the wall in his office. I'm not sure what came first, the t-shirt or the painting, either way it's badass.

The year 2009 marks the 21st year that Ronnie has "been in business," operating what most would consider to be some of the most popular companies in BMX: Shadow Conspiracy (8 years), Subrosa (3 years), Sputnic (3 years) and Sparky's Distro for the past 15 years or so! I guess it's safe to say he's a pretty dedicated and busy man.
I've witnessed Ronnie's chaotic lifestyle first-hand while photographing a Shadow Conspiracy road trip a couple years back as well as visiting his home and office at the Sparky's warehouse. His house and workspace are decorated with various influences from art, photography and design that seem to carry over into his work. As you can imagine, on top of running all these companies he does quite a bit of traveling too. All this uniqueness is why I figure he'd be a great candidate for a Show & Tell feature. Ron sent over a bunch of photos that really capitalized his adventures in 2008, take a look! - Cody York
